HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA :D

Emma turned 15 today, and is getting her permit tomorrow (hopefully!) Instead of having a full out big party she just had a little get together/movie night with some friends. It was a LOT of fun. It just happened to be one of the kids that we had invited birthday too so we did a dual party- and cake:) the cake was awesome!

Butcher Time... NOT for the faint of Heart

We shoot the deer, we butcher the deer, and then we eat the deer! Little goes to waste, rest assured! But Emma, Lily and Becca had blast helping Dad wrap the meat (actually called venison...not deer meat) to put in our freezer to use for the year... Yum yum can't wait!

WAR EAGLE! Tigers Are CHAMPION!!

If you follow college football at all- you would know that the Auburn Tigers played the Oregon Ducks last night for the title of "National Champions." Final Score: 22-19:AUBURN! It has been a very exciting year of football in Auburn- slightly nerve wracking at times, but this was an amazing ending! It was so exciting to win last night and go to Toomer's corner... Auburn is all about tradition: flying the eagle before the game and rolling the legendary oak tree on Toomer's corner (with toilet paper) following a win. And last night it was crazy and beautiful! There were tons of people and the tree looked like it was covered in snow. We werent able to get quite close enough to actually roll THE big tree so we decorated another tree close by. Downtown is covered in toliet paper- and the Auburn Tigers are champions!

Father and Son...Deer in Tow

One of the very favorite past times of this season is hunting! Especailly for the boys in the family(but now limited to! Grace got an 8 point at the beginning of the season!) Luke, the very lucky duck, got a 9 point on the 8th! He is very proud of it- and so is his daddy!

Ohh how we LOVE our Pets!
